Hotel Brummell is situated in the Poble Sec neighborhood, off the beaten tourist trail but surrounded by many cultural gems. Owned by photographer Christian Schallert, the boutique hotel has twenty designer rooms and two (80m²) apartments.

The building’s facade dates back to 1870, but the interior has been completely transformed by architect Inma Rábano. Interior design was done by Tommy Tang and Crick King of Blankslate (and founders of Federal Cafe), inspired by Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa’s ‘tropical modernism’.
