Makamaka Beach Burger Café
Makamaka, which means ‘very close friend’ in Hawaiian, opened its doors in Barceloneta in 2012. The popular burger restaurant sits on a happy stretch of Passeig de Joan de Borbó, right before reaching the beach.

La Pepita
La Pepita opened in 2010 in the lower part of the Gràcia neighborhood, led by Sergio Andreu and Sofía Boixet. The pair had recently returned from Paris, where Sergio had worked for a gourmet Spanish restaurant called Fogón.

Xemei
Xemei is located in a charming area of Poble Sec, at the foot of Montjuïc near the Teatre Grec. The restaurant was started by two Venetian twins, Stefano and Max Colombo after discovering the lack of good Italian restaurants in Barcelona.
Angle Barcelona
The 1* Michelin restaurant Angle Barcelona opened in Hotel Cram in 2013, led by chef Jordi Cruz, also the lead chef at ABaC restaurant. His cuisine creatively fuses the modern and traditional using fresh local produce.
