Can Majó

Can Majó was founded in 1968, at a time when Barceloneta was still a fishing village. After 40 years the neighborhood has changed dramatically, but Can Majó remains a first class family run restaurant serving traditional seafood dishes.

Specialties of the house include Caldero de arroz con Bogavante (a soupy lobster rice dish) and classic appetizers such as chipirones a la Andaluza (Andalusian style baby cuttlefish).

Can Majó is one of a small number of Barceloneta restaurants that have uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean sea from it’s outdoor terrace, making it a wonderful setting to enjoy a sunset along with an authentic paella and glass of cava.

Opening Hours: Lunch from 13:00h to 16:00h, Dinner from 20:00h to 23:30h. Closed on Mondays.
