Almanac Barcelona is situated Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 619-621 in the Eixample neighborhood. Two buildings from different eras underwent extensive renovation and were combined to create the hotel comprising 91 luxurious accommodations.
The award-winning interior and landscape architectural firm Jaime Beriestain Studio chose grey, beige and gold tones throughout with accents of oak and walnut. Antique mirrors and an extensive use of marble from Ibiza give the space an opulent flair.
Many of the rooms have a bowed window design that incorporates a sofa into a windowed nook. Called ‘Cube Rooms’ they offer skyline views providing plenty of natural light. A select number of rooms have a private balcony or terrace.
The stunning suite bathroom.
The hotel’s rooftop bar Azimuth (a term used in navigation to chart a path using astronomy) will offer panoramic views of the city. The pool and sun lounge remain exclusive to hotel residents and serve as a perfect place to relax.
Línia is the hotel’s Mediterranean brasserie whose name is inspired by the famous grid system of Eixample. The restaurant serves an all-day dining and sharing menu.
The Mezzanine level has one conference space for 10 people and two private dining facilities with natural light. On the lower level, there is a venue that can be used for small conferences or other occasions.
Other facilities include a spa with treatment room, steam sauna, relaxation lounge and fitness center.
The nearby Paseo de Gracia is famous for its shopping, restaurants and iconic buildings such as Antoni Gaudí‘s Casa Mila and Casa Batlló. For a fabulous dining experience guests can take a short walk to El Nacional Barcelona. The link below leads to our affiliate, Booking.com.
