Dos Palillos is located around the corner from MACBA and CCCB, in the bohemian Raval neighborhood. The restaurant is situated in Casa Camper, a fashionable boutique hotel. Cadaqués born Albert Raurich was chef de cuisine at Ferran Adrià’s elBulli restaurant from 1999 to 2007 before launching Dos Palillos in 2008.
Albert and Ferran Adrià began working with tapas in 1991 in elBulli, the legendary Michelin 3-star restaurant near the town of Roses, Catalonia. Tickets Bar opened in 2011, the same year as the closure of elBulli.
