Mosaiccos

Mosaiccos offers creative workshops for both children and adults to learn to make beautiful mosaics using Trencadís and other mosaic techniques. Trencadís is a type of mosaic found in Catalan modernism that uses broken tile shards and was adopted by Antoni Gaudí and Josep Maria Jujol. A famous example of Trencadís work is the dragon at the entrance of Park Güell.

Additionally, Mosaiccos organizes special team building activities and events for companies based around the creation of mosaics. These workshops are designed to enhance motivation, communication and collaboration within the company.

Mosaiccos is situated close to the Museu Picasso and the fashionable El Born neighborhood. Founder Angelika Heinbach is a German artist who has lived in Spain for over 26 years. She was recently awarded Mestre artesà divulgatiu (Master craftsman’s certificate) at the Palau de la Generalitat in Barcelona.
