Torre Glòries, formerly known as Torre Agbar, is a skyscraper of 144 metres in Barcelona’s Sant Martí district. The building was designed and built by Jean Nouvel and b720 Arquitectos.
Opened in Spring of 2022, the Mirador Torre Glòries offers beautiful 360° views of Barcelona, from a height of 125 metres. The lift takes visitors directly to the 30th floor within a few seconds. Pictured above: views of Avinguda Diagonal and La Sagrada Família.
An large installation called Cloud Cities Barcelona by Argentine artist Tomás Saraceno hangs above visitors.
Looking south you can see the Mercat dels Encants in the foreground and Montjuïc in the distance.
Ildefons Cerdà, the urban planner who designed the Eixample district, envisaged Plaça de les Glòries as the absolute centre of Barcelona.
