The Casa de Comidas Buenavista is located within the new boutique hotel, Antiga Casa Buenavista, situated in the heart of the Sant Antoni neighborhood. The restaurant has a long history behind it. Since its inception, a century ago, it has focused on offering market cuisine and has been managed by successive family generations. Currently, the family tradition is still present and the recent renovation of the building has preserved the details of the original space.
Casa de Comidas Buenavista maintains the original essence of the popular Casa de Comidas, from which it traces its origins. It offers fresh market cuisine with different culinary proposals for snacks between meals, lunch, or if you prefer for dinner. The philosophy is clear: an inclusive spirit and simple quality cuisine with a strong local character. The restaurant is under the supervision of the renowned chef Marc Roca, who is also the owner of Blau restaurant in Barcelona.
The menu features classic tapas such as croquetas, patatas bravas, tortillas and pan con tomate. You can also find traditional Catalan dishes such as Mandonguilles amb ceps (meatballs with mushrooms) and Capipota (a stew of meat and vegetables).
