Mirador Torre Glòries

Torre Glòries, formerly known as Torre Agbar, is one of Barcelona’s most recognizable skyscrapers. Rising 144 metres in the Sant Martí district, this shimmering landmark was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel in collaboration with the local studio b720 Arquitectos. Its shape and façade, glowing in shades of blue, red, and silver, were inspired by the rocky forms of Montserrat and the architectural legacy of Antoni Gaudí.

The Mirador Experience

View from Mirador Torre Glòries

Opened in spring 2022, the Mirador Torre Glòries invites visitors to enjoy beautiful 360° views of the city from a height of 125 metres. In just a few seconds, a high-speed lift takes you to the 30th floor, where Barcelona stretches out in every direction. From here, the Avinguda Diagonal cuts through the city below, while La Sagrada Família towers elegantly in the distance.

Art in the Sky: Cloud Cities Barcelona

Adding a creative touch to the observatory is Cloud Cities Barcelona, a large installation by Argentine artist Tomás Saraceno. Suspended within the tower’s dome, the piece transforms the space into a futuristic landscape of light, reflections and geometry.

Panoramic Views and City Landmarks

Looking south, visitors can spot the lively Mercat dels Encants in the foreground and the gentle slopes of Montjuïc in the background. Every direction offers a postcard-worthy perspective, from the Mediterranean coast to the hills of Collserola. It is one of the few places where you can truly appreciate the scale and symmetry of Barcelona’s urban grid.

A Vision Rooted in Urban Design

The tower stands on Plaça de les Glòries, an area conceived by 19th-century urban planner Ildefons Cerdà as the absolute centre of Barcelona. While his dream of a perfectly balanced city took decades to develop, the Mirador Torre Glòries now brings that vision to life, connecting the city’s past, present and future from one stunning vantage point.

A Must-Visit in Barcelona

Whether you are passionate about architecture, photography or simply discovering new perspectives, the Mirador Torre Glòries delivers. With its combination of art, innovation and breathtaking views, it has quickly become one of the most memorable experiences in Barcelona.
