“The temptation to exist” exhibition at Fundació Foto Colectania displays two cult series in European photography by the Swedish photographers Christer Strömholm and Anders Petersen.

“Les Amies Place Blanche” by Christer Strömholm was made between 1959 and 1968 and reveals the life of the transsexual community at Place Blanche and Pigalle in Paris.
Anders Petersen’s “Café Lehmitz” portrays a group of people living on the margins of society who frequented a cafe in the red light district of Hamburg in the late sixties.
The exhibition runs from April 16 to July 30, 2015.
