Guzzo

A DJ since 1986, Fred Guzzo founded Café Royale in 2000, a legendary venue that offered various styles of live music for over 13 years. He also created the jazz oriented 2siders music label. In mid-2014, Guzzo moved to the fashionable El Born neighborhood, with a club that fills the gap left by the closure of the Bel-Luna Jazz Club.

Miss Van at Guzzo

With his latest multi-faceted venture Guzzo has created a club, café, bar, restaurant and art gallery all rolled into one – in a location previously occupied by a banal Barclays branch office. The venue offers brunch, lunch, dinner, cocktails and late night DJ sessions.

Guzzo made sure the club is soundproofed to 85 decibels so as not to disturb the neighbors. The walls feature a rotation of work by talented street artists such as Ernest Zacharevic.
