Restaurant 7 Portes
Restaurant 7 Portes was founded in 1836, making it one of the oldest restaurants in Barcelona. It is famous for it’s traditional rice dishes and Catalan cuisine.
Museu Picasso
Pablo Picasso was 13 when his family moved to from Barcelona from A Coruña in 1895. His father Ruiz took a position at the School of Fine Arts, where Pablo was admitted as a student. At age 16 Picasso was sent to Madrid’s prestigious Royal Academy of San Fernando. However, he stopped attending classes shortly after starting.
The Mercat Del Born
After twelve years of renovation and an investment of €84 million, the Mercat del Born has reopened to house the Born Cultural Center.
