On January 19th 2017, Turó Park Medical Center opened it’s doors. Founded by Dr. Madeleine Smit, a Dutch native, this private medical center has a specific focus on foreign patients (expats, tourists, business travelers).

La Esquinica originally opened in 1972 on a corner in the El Turó de la Peira neighborhood. In 1997 it relocated to larger space with aragonese decor on Passeig Fabra i Puig, far off the beaten track.
