The Ronda Sant Pere Apartment #11 in Barcelona’s Eixample neighborhood makes a perfect weekend getaway for families or large groups of friends. This is a huge apartment of 180 square meters that can accommodate up to 17 people.

The second floor apartment, accessible by elevator, has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. In total there are 15 single beds and a double sofa-bed available. Fresh linen and towels are provided.

The apartment is situated between Urquinaona metro station and the Arc de Triomf, amid some of the most beautiful modernist architecture of the city.

A sample weekend itinerary could includeː

Friday evening. After unpacking walk to the nearby El Nacional or Casa Alfonso for some sublime tapas.

Saturday morning. Walk 5 minutes to the nearby Passatge de Sert and get coffee at Nomad Coffee, viewed by serious coffee aficionados as the best in the city.

Saturday afternoon. Take a stroll to Passeig de Gràcia and visit the iconic buildings such as Casa Lleó i Morera and Casa Milà.

– Saturday evening. Walk 5 minutes to Plaça Sant Pere and have dinner on the terrace of En Aparte where you’ll get a taste of authentic local life in this tucked away spot. Afterwards you can catch a concert at the unforgettable Palau de la Música Catalana just down the street.

– Sunday morning. Go to the Picasso Museum in El Born, a 10 minute walk from the flat. Here you can see many of his early works from when he lived in Barcelona.

– Sunday afternoon. Go to the beach and soak up the sun. The beaches of Barceloneta are only a 20 minute walk. Afterwards have a paella at Can Majó, where you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean sea from it’s outdoor terrace.

Getting back to the airport is easy – Aerobus has buses leaving from Plaça de Catalunya every 5 minutes. Plaça de Catalunya is a 10 minute walk from the flat.
