Margot House is named after the infamously secretive character played by Gwyneth Paltrow played in the movie The Royal Tenenbaums. The exclusive 9-room boutique hotel is located in the heart of the Eixample neighborhood, opposite Antoni Gaudí’s Casa Batlló on Paseo de Gracia.
Rooms are decorated with fine materials including light wood and cement micro lamps from award winning designers such as Miquel Milà. Among the luxurious details are Egyptian cotton linens, cashmere blankets and 100% pure cotton towels from Hammam pools of Turkey.
Margot House also provides free laundry service, coffees, teas and pastry service 24 hours a day. Breakfast includes homemade cakes, fine pastries, fresh juices, different types of bread, scrambled eggs, or other proposed combinations prepared in the open kitchen on a daily basis. The breakfast area includes fresh flowers, daily newspapers and a beautiful fig aroma that envelops the space.
The Honest Bar offers a fine selection of wines and cocktails, which can be enjoyed any time of day. The ecofriendly values of Margot House are widely evident; from the packaging of water in homemade bottles to the use of pure fabrics for bedding and bath.
Margot House is the creation of father and daughter team Sergio and Sandra Durany. Sergio had a long and successful career in the decoration and lifestyle sector while Sandra, the owner of fashion and accessories stores BE, has a background in interior design and decoration.
