La Xula Taperia was founded around the time of the Nit de Sant Joan in 2013 by Madrileña Tamara Lefelman. It is situated on a lively corridor in the Gràcia neighborhood connecting the Mercat de l’Abaceria and Plaça de la Revolució.
The bar is a popular neighborhood gathering place, where the locals come together and relax after work. Come between 8-9PM on a Friday and you’ll see the bar in full swing.
Tamara offers a delicious free tapa with your drink between 5-9PM in true Madrid style. From the menu, house specialties include the Coca de tataki de atún rojo and the Bombas de setas y queso.
