[dropcap]V[/dropcap]ioko is owned and run by Argentine pastry chef Lucila Baiardi and the shop sits on the bustling Passeig de Joan de Borbó leading to the beaches of Barceloneta.
A wonderland of sweet things, Vioko has more than 50 flavours of ice cream made with real milk, fresh fruit and quality chocolate. A variety of exotic ice cream flavours are available such as rose, violet, grapefruit and jasmine as well as traditional favorites such as caramel or chocolate.
The minimalist interior is shaped like a U, artistically displaying the beautiful cakes, macarons, bonbons, cookies and chocolate bars.
For a taste of luxury, Vioko has a bonbon infused with Chanel No. 5., with bourbon vanilla, Amaretto di Saronno and rolled in edible 22-carat gold leaf.
