The exhibition “Sebald Variations” uses as its theme the work and the figure of the German writer W.G. Sebald (1944-2001), the author of some of the key books of the turn of the last century, such as The Rings of Saturn and Austerlitz.
The exhibition, curated by Rafael Levenfeld and Valentín Vallhonrat, brings together more than 160 black and white photographs in the first retrospective in Spain to be fully devoted to the Catalonian photographer Antoni Arissa.
