Tomàs Tarruella’s Llop (Catalan for wolf) is situated in a gorgeous space (formerly Carmelitas) in the Raval neighborhood, near La Boqueria market.
The cosy space features an open kitchen, huge windows, comfy sofas and wifi.
The star dish is the guacamole mortar with tortilla chips.
Llop offers a varied and international menu, ranging from a good breakfast to brunch a snack or dinner. Mediterranean cuisine with a creative spin.
Dishes use seasonal local produce and are perfect for sharing. Try the mushroom croquettes, sautéed vegetables with soy and ginger or the red tuna tataki with tomato, garlic and pickled onion.
Llop also features live music every Thursday from 8.30pm as well as workshops and exhibitions.
