Benedict: poached eggs, toasted chapata, smoked bacon and hollandaise
[dropcap]I[/dropcap]rish couple Rebecca and Paul Coleman, already famous in Barcelona for their popular restaurants Milk and Marmalade, opened Firebug in early 2016. Situated in the Dreta de l’Eixample, Firebug offers a variety of international tapas sized plates, created with an emphasis on sharing. Try the Drunken Prawns (butter, garlic, white wine, tortillas and a top secret sauce) and the Ceviche Smeviche (white salt water fish, leche de tigre and vegetable crisps). A brunch menu with classic egg dishes and more is also available from Monday to Thursday between 10:00 and 16:30 and Friday through Sunday between 09:00 and 16:30. The cocktail bar whips up a range of temptations such as the Berry Caipiriña (Cachaça, raspberry puree, crème de cassis, lime and sugar). Firebug aims to welcome all types of visitors, whether they be businessmen, families or students. Most tables are kept unreserved.
