BCNewt was launched in the summer of 2014, located in the heart of Poble Nou’s 22@ District, a hub of technology and innovation.
The project manager, Gustavo Franco explains the creative renovation of the space that took place;
Thanks to some industries which still are in the neighborhood, every day we had a lot of wooden pallets all around us at our disposal.
Ceiling lamps, kitchen and meeting room tables, floor baseboards and divisions between the kitchen and the workroom, were all built from pallets worked for reuse. Windows, concrete columns and beams were also restored creating new decorative details.
BCNewt has emerged as an exciting ecological coworking environment that feeds creativity among its members.
